Axis Advertising Group: Gearing Up for Busy 2012

Axis Advertising is approaching 2012 at rocket speed. They have witnessed exponential growth over the last year. With the new year just around the corner, they are excited to implement new marketing strategies while providing more training opportunities for their team members than in years prior. The first of many training opportunities will be in just a few short weeks as they attend their annual Keys to Success Conference in Dallas, TX. This will be an opportunity for their client representatives, account managers, assistant managers, and administrators to attend training sessions fundamental to their department. Managers from their national offices will be speaking at the conference as well as CEO and President Larry Tennenbaum. Only a few top account managers are fastidiously chosen to attend this conference. Axis announced this week that manager Chris Hallam and account manager Brandon Sargent are being sent to attend this meeting. There are often awards presented at these conferences, and leadership exercises performed as well, all for the purpose of improving performance and rewarding hard work. Axis will be following up the conference with an expansion to Phoenix. Tim Twyford will be managing the newest location. There are other available markets that Axis is prospecting, as they aim to make 2012 their most flourishing year to date.

Axis Advertising Group Kicks Off New Year with New Office

Over the past year, Axis Advertising has seen tremendous growth in both clients and sales. This increase has allowed them to also grow their offices, with new markets awaiting Axis to open for business. In the current US economic state, 2011 has seen highs and lows multilaterally across the board. The small business owner has been fighting for its voice to be heard during the economic downturn. This holiday season, Axis has much to be grateful for, as they have seen expansion, growth, results and increase in clientele. In January 2012, they will be opening an office in Phoenix.  Tim Twyford was chosen to manage this office and take care of the market plans, strategies and hiring of new employees. As long as Axis continues to be results driven, they will continue to see tremendous growth. Downturn? What downturn?

“Apprentice” Winner Bill Rancic Offers Valuable Advice to Axis Advertising

Axis has always prided itself on their results driven work ethic and the value of a student mentality…the importance of being the first to come in and the last to leave. The weekend of November 12th and 13th, Axis Advertising took an R&R trip to Fajardo, Puerto Rico, where they had the pleasure of hearing from a very special guest speaker. Bill Rancic (of “Apprentice” fame), greeted hundreds of their employees on Saturday morning with a healthy dose of advice, motivation and personal testimony. Prior to his “Apprentice” win on the Donald Trump produced reality show, Chicago native Rancic, had already proven himself as an entrepreneur. In his speech, he explained his path to success and the steps that one should take and changes one should make that are imperative to successful business decisions. Among those points were narratives that would have been heard somewhere in an Axis meeting room at some point over the last few years. However hearing them from another perspective was all the more enlightening:
·Practical Execution- being able to deliver results
·Agility (the importance of being able to adapt to circumstances and take risks)
·Good Decision Making- learning from mistakes; sometimes indecision is worse than a bad decision
·Work Ethic (being the first to arrive and the last to leave; taking ownership and responsibility when you choose to take on tasks)
·Never Quit (or make excuses)
·Be Proactive (surround yourself with other self-motivated people)

Rancic was quick to inform that even Donald Trump himself, operates by these standards. One of the biggest things that Axis’ employees took away from the meeting was the fact that Bill never asked for hand-outs; he doesn’t feel as though the world owes him something just because he has a degree. He put himself through college and understands the value of hard work and the reward of reaching goals that were earned and not given.

Axis employees also participated in an awards ceremony shortly after Bill’s speech.
There was of course plenty of time for rest and relaxation as well. They traveled on catamarans, swam with the fish, enjoyed the local cuisine and most importantly were able to sleep in and get some much-needed rest. Axis feels that in order to run a smooth operation, their employees need to be appreciated, so they will continue to hold these R&R trips as long as they continue to prosper.

Axis Advertising Equipping Their Staff

Axis believes that with the current state of the US economy, it is imperative now more than ever, that they stay one step ahead of the competition. They believe that it begins with management and choose to operate based on the Vince Lombardi belief that “the strength of the group is the strength of the leaders”. Every person on staff has a role in providing top-notch service to their clients. They strongly feel that every person should be equipped for both personal and professional success. Each quarter account managers, event coordinators, assistant managers as well as regional and national directors attend a leadership conference. They have the opportunity to meet with managers, from across the country, that are currently working with a variety of clients in the sports and entertainment industry. There are general sessions, breakout sessions, leadership exercises and multiple networking tools provided to all attendees with the sole purpose of equipping each member of Axis' team."
